Lesson topics include:

What is the role of art, music, and film in God’s purposes? What does the Bible have to say about art and beauty? Is the concept of beauty totally subjective, or is it linked to God? Can “secular” art draw us to God? This class will explore the nature of beauty with a Christian worldview. We will consider how Scripture speaks about beauty and how our view of beauty has been shaped by the dominant culture. We will consider how Christians can engage art (music, visual, film, etc.) in a way which increases their faith. Various artists and musicians from MRCC will speak about their experiences.
